Modern Maternity in Grand Rapids, MI | Kayla & Joshua

I had the pleasure of photographing one of my previous AES wedding couples, Kayla and Joshua as they enter a new journey in their life together as parents. Kayla and Josh celebrated their marriage together in the summer of 2022. Shortly after their wedding they found out they were expecting and their little family was about to grow in a whole new way!

Kayla wanted a simple editorial feel to her maternity photos to highlight the simplicity and beauty of pregnancy and the changes her body has taken on to create their beautiful baby girl! The neutral tones were perfect for the style of photos she was aiming to achieve. The couple brought along some clothing and shoes to feature in their photos as well.

With baby girl’s anticipated arrival being this June, Kayla and Josh are excited and eager to meet their sweet girl!
