Editorial Engagement in Detroit, Michigan | Alexis & Cameron

Cameron and Alexis got engaged in February on a chilly afternoon in Northern Michigan. The couple to be began dating in college and continued to grow their relationship over a couple of years. Cameron had planned a beautiful trip up north for the two to spend some time together. Little did Alexis know, she would begin the trip as a girlfriend and end the trip as a fiancee! Cameron proposed on the shoreline of Lake Michigan and Lake Huron in Mackinaw City. There was a beautiful view of the Mackinaw Bridge to set the scene for what would be the start of forever!

Alexis and Cameron eager to start the wedding planning, began their journey to their wedding day with an engagement session. Their session took place in the streets of Detroit, MI. Alexis wore a dainty, white tulle dress and acrylic heels with a low updo to finish her look. Cameron on the other hand wore a classy black suit. The look and feel of this session emulated love in the city.

I am so excited for their wedding next September in 2024!

A few words from the couple,

We didn’t have to brainstorm about where we wanted to go for locations the day of the session, or worry about preparation. Alyssa handled it ALL and more! She had a vision that we didn’t have originally and loved the concept! Alyssa was supportive, fun, kind & encouraging during the session.
